Dave & Shelly are here!

My parents came for a few days last week. It was nice to have them here. This trip coincided with Garrett's fall break from school, soccer games, and was close enough to Ian's birthday to start the celebrations.

Though we had stuff to do everyday there were still relaxing times which is what we miss with our visits being so compressed.



Ian had a fun early birthday dinner with both sets of Grandparents.

You can figure out how old he will be by doing 4 number addition math.

We visited the exotic wildlife ranch and had some fun in the car checking out all the animals.









They really are right next to the car.

We all watched Ian and Garrett play some great soccer games. Ian showed off for Shelly and Dave with 3 goals! Evidently we need them in the stands every weekend.

Daddy and Chris took the boys golfing on Saturday afternoon and everyone had a great time. Ian loved practicing some more while Garrett got some instruction and left a club on the course.




Chris had the best and worst shot of the day hitting into the seriously rough. He actually hit into cactus and his ball went straight through leaving a perfect golf ball sized hole.


As always it felt too short but it was wonderful nonetheless.
