Rain, Rain Come Again!

This picture is to document that it did rain once this summer, albeit for 20 minutes, but it was rain.
We are desperate down here and sadly joke that we will need to tell Nora "The Legend of Rain" some day and explain that water used to fall from the sky.

It isn't pretty with no grass, leaves turning yellow already and our creek just a big puddle, but thankfully our neighborhood well is still going and the spring at the ranch is still flowing.

Ian was asking about why God isn't answering our prayers for rain and it has been a great opportunity to talk about faith and trusting that God's will is perfect even if it means some personal hardship.

We will certainly keep praying for rain and for those effected by the fires that have been widespread across Texas this month.
