Our Christmas Eve Zoo trip changed this year to the Day After Christmas Zoo trip due to a cat in recovery, poor weather, and admittedly poor planning. Garrett was in his element and the other two were loving the day with Chris and trying to remember which way we should go next. We realized we were strollerless for the first time at the zoo - bittersweet sort of, but quickly overcome by the joy and need to catch up to the three explorers on the move ahead.
One of the things I enjoy at the zoo is seeing the baby komodo dragons. They are just a month younger than Nora so we have seen them at every stage and they are starting to get big.
Capped off by a train ride, it was a great day.
