Chris upgraded his phone to a Blackberry recently and has been slightly enamored with all the bells and whistles that come with it. One of the little software apps available is a GPS program with the add-on option to take part in Geocacheing. Essentially it is hide and seek with GPS coordinates. Chris accessed a website listing where some of the caches were in our area and found that one was right at the entrance to our neighborhood!
Ian immediately decided pirate wear was required when offered a "treasure hunt." They left with their map aka Blackberry, found the treasure after a good bit of looking (a list you can add your name to), and came home victorious.
It turns out there are lots nearby so if we ever get bored we can always go on a cache hunt.
