She is 3!

Nora is THREE years old!

Of course birthday morning started with a birthday cupcake and two sweet, big brothers!
Shelly and Dave are even here to celebrate!

We hosted a party out at The Spring again this year with lots of fun families invited. Nora totally got this birthday and gracefully enjoyed the extra attention. She requested a unicorn cake which was unexpected but with Chris's good eye and a random stroll through an Ikea kitchen section, very possible. We even made a baby unicorn cake.

She enjoyed her family presents and lots of friends brought canned good donations for the CAM food bank.

The biggest event of the day was a snake hanging around in the swimming hole. After a bit of encouraging the snake made it out of the water and over the dam to eventually meet its demise. It was probably one of the best three year old birthday parties the dads had ever been too.

Up until her birthday Nora told anyone who asked that she was 5 with enough confidence to make you wonder. Thankfully she has embraced 3 and loves to put her fingers up to show you. She is still quite the spitfire and is working very hard to be heard and seen at all times. She doesn't take no for an answer often so we are working on patience and sharing - no surprise.
She says words like "beautiful" and "delicious" and "fabulous" at the most hilarious times.

She has started to require her purse and sunglasses to leave the house. (That one I can't help but model.) She is spot on with her numbers and colors. She will ask me for paper to write her name and always writes a very nice "A" so we are still working on letters. Just the other night she did her first real play reading with "Put me in the Zoo." It was super cute.

After a long separation, Mr. Rabbit is back in Nora's arms along with Alice, a few babies and my teddy bear, Mary Anne.

Tea parties and interpretive dance moments are on the rise in this house thanks to Nora.
I can only imagine where we will be this time next year.

Thanks for the laughs Baby Girl!
