We said farewell to the T-Bird the other day. We released it to serve another.

As happy as we were to not have the hassle of another car clogging our driveway or just sitting in front of the office taking up parking, it was a little bittersweet. We bought that car from Aden after deciding cutting down to one car with Chris in school full-time and me about to have a baby wasn't a good idea. It served Chris well at Wake and continued here in Texas. He wasn't always the coolest guy pulling up in the T-Bird to a dove hunt or guys' night or business meeting, but he always got there.

One tip.... if you are selling a used car and need to take it in to a mechanic for any reason, make sure the mechanic knows you want to sell it. We had told ours and had the Kelly Blue Book print outs in the front seat. He was able to match us up with someone weighing major repairs versus a "new" car. Good deal for both of us.
