Mike and Elizabeth are recreating a dam in the back of the ranch that was washed out in a flood a few years ago. The original dam dated from the early 1900's and created a public swimming hole when the county road ran through the property. The new dam will create a fun, new, private swimming hole for the Hughes' and their many guests. All the grandchildren names are carved into the top of the dam with a 2008 penny to commemorate the year. We look forward to lots of family fun in that beautiful spot in the future.
