We headed to a Bible Study Retreat last weekend in Comanche. It was a lovely time with lots of fun friends for the kids and great information for the adults. This weekend happens every two years and it was striking to think back two years ago. Lots of the same friends were there and the hospitality was just as warm.
We stopped in Llano on the way up, walked across the bridge, bought a geode to crack open, and geocached.
The kids were pretty creative during the down times. This little area became a full fledged clubhouse/school house/bus stop and dance club throughout the weekend.
The wildflowers were beautiful on the drive. This time it wasn't during Bluebonnet blooms but the Mexican Hats and Indian Paintbrushes covered everything in yellows, oranges and reds.
