We traveled up to Comanche for a Bible Study weekend and had a wonderful time meeting lots of new friends and even unexpectedly reconnecting with some old ones. It was hosted by a really welcoming family and even though the rain added some challenges everything worked out well. The teaching was certainly rewarding, but highlights were spending time at the ranch looking at all the cows and chickens, the watusi (picture above) plus a hayride and swimming in the creek. (We lost two right boots in that creek - so if you know anyone with two left feet in need of boots, let me know.) Roasting marshmallows and just the usual running, chasing, jumping, climbling sort of activities rounded out the fun.
It was a refreshing weekend of fellowship and a really pretty drive as the wildflowers are in full force this year.
