While driving the other day Nora pulled out her latest favorite joke - any word with the words "poo poo" after it. So as she came to the end of the song she was singing she ended with "poo poo" and then cutely said "poo poo" again - as in "who said poo poo?"
We are, of course, discouraging this behavior and in rare form Garrett spoke up in agreement saying that he was big enough and he wasn't going to say potty words anymore because he know they weren't polite.
I probably went off the deep end on the praise amount a bit in response but if you know Garrett admissions of maturity are not the norm.
Hearing all the praise Garrett was getting, Nora piped up with a statement saying that she was going to keep her shoes on in the car.
Now that is mind blowing so I kept the praises flowing and gushed on how big my two little ones were becoming and thanking them for being so considerate to their mom, etc, etc.
Ian's declaration: he is only going to pick his nose when it itches.
Everyone is just so grown up.
