This year my birthday present was a fun day to myself. Chris and Elizabeth helped arrange post school child care and after dropping off in the morning and a PTO meeting I headed down to San Antonio solo. It was a treat to listen to my music/radio channel of choice, not have lunch if I wasn't hungry and spend as much time as I wanted browsing and considering. I actually tried clothes on before I bought them. It was capped off by coming home to some wonderful home made birthday cards, a pair of earrings I had pointed out a few weeks back and a delicious salmon dinner and pineapple cake. Not to mention the family sitting around the table.
