Wow! Our vacation in Orange Beach, Alabama was awesome. We had a great condo (from VRBO if anyone wants the info) in the Seaside Beach and Racquet Club with beautiful beaches.
We...saw stingrays in the water, found lots of shells, boogie boarded, saw the Juan Sebastian de Elcano in Pensacola Bay, napped on the beach, flew kites, watched the Blue Angels practice, played tennis, ate lots of seafood (royal reds are yummy), met some of the Morrill family living in Mobile and checked out some past Honey haunts, drove by a roadkill alligator (that was nuts in my book - only in NOLA), visited with the Haynie's in New Orleans and in general had a great time!
My parents joined us too so that was a bonus. When we asked Ian if he would like to come back to this beach again sometime he thought and then said "no." We looked at each other and understood...he didn't want to come back because that would mean that he had to leave. What logic! Nora found her beach legs pretty early and loved being in the water with us. Garrett was a swimming fool and spent plenty of time in the ocean even though his quote of the week was, "my hate the beach....my love the pool." Ian was totally at home. He rode in on waves, dove to the bottom of the pool for toys and caught the tennis bug. Everyone was really tired at the end of each day. I could post pictures forever!

Hey, chica! You must let me know when you go to NOLA! I grew up in Slidell!!! I could have sent you to some fabulous places. Where did you eat? Yummmmmmmmm
