Our cat Susie cornered this snake near our front door the other day. Susie is a very talented huntress. She has brought us birds, snakes, lizards, large beetles and probably lots of other things I just haven't noticed. We didn't think this was a fight we should let her keep fighting- though she probably would have won. We got her inside and shooed the snake away. Five minutes later we let her out again and she was immediately back out there tracking the snake along the side of the house.
