Garrett is 18 Months!!

Garrett is 18 months old - he was on the 28th of last month anyway. He just had his check up though and I thought I would give out some stats. This kid is a bruiser. 95% in height and 90% percentile in weight. Apparently Chris's big Hughes boy genes are kicking in. He is running and climbing everywhere and tries to ride the scooter and tricycle all the time without success -yet. He talks up a storm - lots of animal sounds and every car that goes by gets a big "caaarrrrr". Ian was stumping him for a while but he finally got a faint "n" sound at the end. Garrett thinks slides are called "weeee's" and unfortunately he still shakes his head "no" even when we know he means "yes" sometimes. He loves to "read" and can totally lay Ian out with a tackle if Ian isn't paying attention. He throws and kicks and is really physical. The boys are developing a friendship right now and it is such a joy to watch.
