New Bike Day!
In an effort to spur Garrett on to embracing the two wheeled biker we knew he was, I started training Nora on two wheels. She had immediate success and *wow* so did Garrett! He was off and pedaling in no time - even got the push off down without much trouble. To encourage everyone to keep up the good work, we headed straight out for new bikes. Garrett's was much too small and Nora didn't have a two wheeler that was going to last much longer.
We decided to keep Nora's training wheels on for a little while longer, since she is still a bit unpredictable.
After the purchases we went straight to the biggest, flattest, emptiest parking lot we know and knocked all the little rubber noogies off the tires. They had a great time and we are all looking forward to bike riding as a family in the near future!
