BEFORE... This was our fireplace wall when we moved in. 
DURING... This was during the deconstruction phase. We took off all the brick and the hearth, plus took down all the panelling and crazy lighting.
Still needs a little beautification, but after 18 months of waiting we will take it. Hope to get the tile on soon. It will be great to have a functioning fireplace after so long and a place to hang stockings for Christmas. Last year I staple gunned a cardboard drawing of a fireplace up on the wall. This will be way better!
