Watermelons!

We have picked our watermelons and they are delicious. We have eaten them for days and even made "agua fresca" - a mexican drink that is essentially barely sweetened water and watermelon juice. Really good! The pumpkins did well too, but we are a bit unsure what to do with them. Most will probably end up in Chris' compost pile and get ready to help the next planting grow. We haven't seen any gourds on the snake gourd plant, but we had plenty of blooms. Good thing only one plant came up though or the entire barn might have been over taken.
